Avatar Yangchen's unsavory acts under the facade of being a saint:

1. Avatar Yangchen would suck the air out of a room to instantly knock out opponents or kill them if prolonged. She uses this with precision to end fights before they even start. This technique was later used by Zaheer in the Legend of Korra series.
2. Avatar Yangchen was once cornered by a group of armed guards. In an attempt to escape, she let out a scream that was amplified by airbending, which ruptured the eardrums of the guards and knocked them unconscious instantly.
3. Avatar Yangchen could vibrate the air at specific low frequencies in order to create an infrasound that could induce intense feelings of dread, nausea, the fear of being haunted, and paranoia in her enemies. All so she could interrogate her enemies with a saintly facade while they collapsed, vomited, or wept in terror.
4. Avatar Yangchen turned the sacred Northern Air Temple into a secret prison, keeping combustionbenders in sensory deprivation torture for years. She forced pacifist monks to act as jailers, prioritizing global security over her own culture's sanctity. This eventually led to her banishment from the Northern Air Temple.
While Yangchen was a Saint to the world, she understood that a world without war required a leader willing to get their hands dirty, proving that the greatest act of service is being the monster so no one else has to be.

Avatar Kyoshi's extremely violent acts during her 230 years as the Avatar: (Sourced from the light novels the rise of Kyoshi and the shadow of Kyoshi) 1. Avatar Kyoshi was once engaging in battle with a bandit leader called Xu Ping. After a while, Avatar Kyoshi entered the Avatar state, grabbed Xu Ping, flew to the sky, and dropped Xu Ping to his death while watching as if she had just killed a mere ant. 2. Avatar Kyoshi once had a friend named Yun who was thought to be the Avatar before eventually finding out that she's the actual Avatar. After Yun became corrupted by a spirit and went on a vengeful killing spree, Kyoshi froze the blood and water in his lungs and heart to stop him instantly. 3. Avatar Kyoshi caused a massive scene at a high society tea party because she was using her immense power to intimidate the earth's kingdom royalty. She let bystanders get caught in the crossfire of her bending just to send a message that "The Avatar is coming for her enemies." 4. Avatar Kyoshi could use her war fans to bend glass ( a unique sub-bending), which she eventually used in a fight to create a literal whirlwind of sharp shards to shred her opponent's defenses. Although Avatar Kyoshi was violent, she wasn't an evil or a bad person. she believed that mercy to the wicked is cruelty to the innocent. What's the most violent act on this list?
