@PaulCharchian I've seen a bunch of people say Jack Heritage. That is great, not high proof. Should be a crowd pleaser. I've really been enjoying Old Soul Tin Type 1, but it is a pricey bottle.

Advice requested! Whiskey Weekend 2026 is three weeks away, and I haven't picked my bottle yet. Below are the bottles already used. Considering the middle-of-the-road palates of our guys, what do you recommend?

Hot take. Bourbon doesn't make the best cocktails. Rye's better. Rum's superior. bourbon's best neat or on ice. 20 years of working in bourbon, and I really only enjoy a handful of bourbon cocktails and almost all of them either have citrus or ginger. How about you?
