I cannot imagine what it must be like for the lionesses to have WON the euros, then get 2nd in the World Cup, just for Harry Kane to say ‘England hasn’t won anything as a nation for a long, long time’. Also, female athletes have won gold at the last FOUR Winter Olympics 🙃

Back using the printer that got me through my final year BSc project just in a different setting and it's still as amazing as I remember!

Undermining and disrespecting medical professionals (once again) who are more than qualified to identify if someone needs a sick note. Mental health is just as important as physical health. People are more than what they can do.
Farrukh@implausibleblog

Fiona Bruce, "The government wants GPs no longer issue sick notes, who are these specialised experts?" Chris Philp, "They'll be trained to identify what people can do.. GPs are under pressure might be a little too quick to sign off a sick note" #BBCQT So according to the Conservative party GPs are not only so incompetent they cannot decide if you are sick, but also complicit in fraud by signing people off sick who may not be sick?

Had a fantastic time at @RSCbiomatchem @lborouniversity hearing about some interesting and exciting research being conducted and I even had the opportunity to display a poster and chat about my project. Feeling very thankful.

@bichxolo @John_Cooper_QC Also, you have no idea of the severity of my attack so don't minimise my experience as if I'm wrong to have the opinion I have after my experience. Were all entitled to an opinion on the matter of something whether they are of the same opinion or not.

@bichxolo @John_Cooper_QC So you think a ban is the best way of doing it? By only imposing a ban after a number of incidences doesn't really help the problem in my opinion, by adopting something like the Calgary model, likelihood of bites from any dog, regardless of breed is lowered

@Zereneilux @wnxarcticwolf @Beverle51995260 @John_Cooper_QC I understand what you're saying. But for me, given the vague description of an XL bully type means many dogs which are not XL bullies will fall victim to this ban. Anything from a staffy or boxer cross to a mastiff and I find that quite alarming.

@wnxarcticwolf @Beverle51995260 @pbsnkell @John_Cooper_QC It’s not only the bite force that makes them dangerous, it’s their bite down + shake bite style and unwillingness to let go once they’ve bitten. The only reliable way to get a bully breed to let go is by choking it until it releases to breathe.

@pjnichols @david_robery @Beverle51995260 @John_Cooper_QC Well ok, that's your opinion and I think we should agree to disagree on this matter because we're just going round in circles and I think all the people @ in this are probably sick of the notifications of our debate

@pjnichols @Beverle51995260 @John_Cooper_QC Well all those owners of poorly trained poorly behaved small and medium dogs should consider that there dog can actually be classed as a dangerous dog, which is true, it's actually stated in the DDA. But generally that's not the consensus

@pjnichols @Beverle51995260 @John_Cooper_QC And what alot of large breed dog owners find frustrating in my opinion, is that when a small/medium sized dog is acting inappropriately, alot of people just laugh as if to say "silly dog"

@pjnichols @Beverle51995260 @John_Cooper_QC I haven't said it's unfair to muzzle a dog, I said I agree with it. And why I say about all dogs being muzzled is because it's been seen all over the internet and in person that all dogs have the ability to bite . I've seen all sorts of breeds acting terrible when out in public
