Randy Ellenbecker - a member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame - just worked his last match after 51 years officiating. He left it all on the mat. Amazing career serving kids, coaches and the sport. Congratulations Mr. Ellenbecker!!!

That’s literally the problem.

Another big day for D-10 officials to complete a huge weekend! Paul Pilatowski, Neal Brokman and DJ Bross are working the 2A final in lacrosse, while Ken Nelson and Vic Carr are working the 3A final in boys volleyball.

Still a penalty in HS football and a point of emphasis the last couple years. Not sure how it can be considered legal on any level.

This is what is wrong with NCAA athletics.

🚨The Mercer County Football Officials are proud to announce that Lakeview High School senior Luke Sheidy is the recipient of its annualSportsmanship Award & Scholarship. Luke will receive a $3500 scholarship and a custom plaque. The MCFO chapter funds this scholarship in part from proceeds from its annual golf outing held in August.    Since its inception in 2011, the MCFO have awarded over $34,000 to area student-athletes who play football in Mercer County.  Applications are sent out to area coaches and guidance counselors and they nominate one senior player from their team who exemplifies sportsmanship, character and leadership in and out of the classroom @RHarold21

Funny moment early on as the Metro receives 7 flags on the same play. Longtime official Paul Pilatowski is the referee and his son Drew is on the Metro. Paul has never officiated one of his son’s games until his final one in high school!
