Is there anything @SB19Official cannot do?!? This concert was EPIC and their biggest audience yet, but also incredibly HEARTFELT because of the boys’ messages at the end, that we may as well have been back at Teatrino in terms of how intimate it felt! And yes, I cried again! If SAW was triumphant tears, WAS was sentimental 🥹 @justintdedios talked about #SB19 being around for 8 years - how fortunate is #MamaSony to have been there for the last 7 of them! SB19 is the real definition of tourism boosters. They may not be Dept. of Tourism Ambassadors for now but they always kept their promise even before they rose to fame that they will put OPM in the map & international fans flying to the PH is the best example that they succeeded.

Because this is the first time SB19 are performing at a venue that's nearly a blank canvas and of which they have to build from scratch, keep this in mind, A'tin: SOLDOUT ≠ VENUE CAPACITY Unlike their past concerts held at indoor venues that have a set number of seats and limited capacity for the standing sections as determined by building and safety codes, outdoor venues are generally more flexible. Yes, outdoor venues still comply with safety regulations but the flexibility in capacity is determined by venue configuration and stage set-up. Add to this the fact that generally speaking, a concert is only considered "soldout" depending on the number of tickets for sale. This is where we circle back to the thought that maxxing out a venue capacity is not necessarily the sole basis for whether or not a concert is soldout. If a venue can hold 20,000 people but the producer only has 15,000 tickets for sale and all of those are bought without them adding any more tickets to sell, then yes, that's considered "soldout". But if the producer decides to add more tickets or open more audience sections, then that's an indication of demand. The SMDC Festival Grounds can hold a significantly higher number of concert attendees as opposed to indoor venues in the Philippines. In March 2024, Ed Sheeran's Mathematics World Tour stop in SMDC had 45,000 fans. Approximately 65,000 attended Ben&Ben's Homecoming Concert in the same outdoor venue in December 2022. Meanwhile, Eraserheads, in the same month for their reunion concert, had an estimated 75,000 attendees. I haven't been able to find a confirmed max capacity for SMDC. Some say it can hold as much as 90 to 100K concertgoers. Conservative estimates cap it at eHeads' 75K. I don't have the initial headcount for the tickets for sale for SB19's Trilogy Finale concert either. But for whichever is the correct number, the fact that LiveNation keeps adding tickets is, safe to say, a clear indicator of demand.
