also unfortunately can confirm all the yardage we did was fucking useless. i have been in the water twice in the last 3 weeks and not since august and i swam multiple :14 25s fly yesterday and its all from lifting. like!!!! i’m not even good at fly!!!

another great example of you get what you pay for in detroit because the $35 ANNUAL rec membership comes at the cost of sometimes shit is just closed for no reason. which happened yesterday. i didn’t cry!! but paid $19 for livonia rec instead :(

went to one of the detroit city rec center pools today for the first time and it was such a vibe. only the underwater lights were on and they were blasting sade greatest hits on the speakers! it was like the club!
