I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran. This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war. Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons. I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late. Yesterday, nearly ten million people protested “No Kings” in the United States. The possibility of the use of nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It's dangerous. Act now. Spread this message worldwide. Take the streets. Protest for our humanity and future. Only the people can stop it. History will remember us.

This is what the most moral army did in my hometown Beit Hanoun. Genocide.

Sad and heartbreaking update; The Kenyan student who went missing in the UK, Edna Mmbali Ombakho, has been found. Sadly, her body was discovered in a river on March 8, 2026. Edna, 31, was pursuing her MSc at York St John University (London campus) and lived in Wraysbury, Berkshire. She was last seen on February 1 after heading out for a walk, something so ordinary that her sudden silence worried everyone. She always stayed in close touch with her family in Kitale, so when the calls stopped, her loved ones knew something wasn't right. The family raised the alarm, and with support from HAKI Africa, the Kenyan diaspora, the Kenya High Commission, and Thames Valley Police, searches and appeals went out widely. Everyone held onto hope for weeks. Now the news has come, and it's devastating. No official cause of death has been released yet, and police continue their investigation. This has left her family, friends, and the whole community in deep grief. May She RIP

Nearly 700,000 people – including about 200,000 children – have been displaced in Lebanon in just 10 days of war in the Middle East, according to UNICEF. Food and fuel prices are surging as the conflict spreads across the region. news.un.org/en/story/2026/…

More than 10,000 calls have been made to Martha’s Rule helplines in the first 16 months of the scheme. Martha’s Rule gives patients and families the right to call for a rapid review if they’re worried their or a loved one’s condition is getting worse. ➡️ england.nhs.uk/2026/03/over-1…

It is raining oil in Tehran this morning after major airstrikes on oil facilities in the South and West of the Iranian capital. @CNN @cnni

Scenes from Tehran look apocalyptic. This is a city of 10 million people.

Sally Rooney: "I would like to ask my fellow writers & artists.. not to dwell too exclusively on what we stand to lose. There is another more important side to the story. To join in something greater than ourselves, to participate in.. a struggle for human liberation"

BREAKING: The people of Tehran woke up to toxic acid rain after the U.S. & Israel bombed oil storage facilities. 10 million people exposed to a serious environmental hazard that causes chemical burns to the skin & damage to the lungs because of war crimes committed by pedophiles.

💢 “Black rain” and “nuclear winter” effect reported in Tehran after Israeli strikes on oil facilities ▪️ Israeli strikes on oil depots around Tehran have released massive quantities of toxic hydrocarbons, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxides. Mixed with rainwater, these chemicals are causing highly acidic precipitation that can cause skin burns and severe lung damage upon contact, according to Iranian authorities. ▪️ Dense plumes of black smoke from the Shahran and other refineries have blotted out the sun, plunging parts of the city into darkness and creating a "nuclear winter" effect, NYT reported. Authorities warned that these noxious fumes cause acute respiratory distress and eye irritation. ▪️ Oil-saturated rainwater has blanketed the city, leaving rooftops, balconies, and streets covered in a thick, murky black liquid and oily soot. This contamination poses a long-term risk of heavy metals like nickel and vanadium leaching into the soil and local water systems. ▪️ Environmental groups warn the pollution threatens migratory birds crossing the Persian Gulf. The "black rain" and smoke plumes can cause internal organ damage and destroy the insulating properties of bird feathers, leading to hypothermia and death. The Iranian Red Crescent Society warned of the dangers of the rain, advising residents to protect themselves and to cover exposed food from oily soot particles. Officials said the rain is highly corrosive and could potentially damage civilian structures. 🎥 Day time in Iran (clip via @tparsi). CNN reports on “oil rain” below.
