!! This post is a little long and personal for me & I doubt most will even read it because im too much of a certified YAPPER..... but I'm just feeling a little emotional and proud of myself for my recent accomplishments and felt like sharing! (posting with a pic of my cat girl bc shes a cutie and for visibility hehe) >:3
SOOOOOO over the last 2-3 years, I sadly developed a medical condition that caused an unfortunate amount of weight gain, severe body pain and several other things that kept me from living a simple, normal life. I always had to be on guard and couldn't let loose at any point because my body could turn on me at any given moment. :/
Thankfully since October of 2025, I found a Dr who actually gave a shit and has helped me tackle the issue directly without having to go through painful surgeries and/or "band-aid" the issue. I have been working non stop, every single day for months by going to the gym, eating healthy, listening to my body.... and have managed to ALMOST completely reverse the majority of my symptoms and start to feel and look like my old self again. Not only for my health directly but weight and aesthetic wise well. I'm not used to being over weight like this, so dealing with it for the last 3 years really put a toll on me mentally.
I've been extremely embarrassed of my weight gain, so I hid away from everything and everyone for far too long. I missed out on so much. It feels really fucking good to FINALLY get to point where I feel secure enough and proud of myself enough to see the progress - and continue to kick ass until I achieve that better version of myself that I deserve. It doesn't happen overnight and I have to keep telling myself that because there are deep discouraging days sometimes. Even though I still see myself and am unhappy with some things.... I know its not forever. I gave myself a year.... and with how hard I've been working and how fast I've been losing weight... I actually just might achieve my goal before that 1 year mark. :3
I'm really bad at posts like these because they seem very personal and my emotions are all over the place but... I'm proud and excited to see my progress and the end results ♡♡ A special thank you to my doctor and one specific person who means the absolute world to me (you know who you are). You both have supported me, encouraged me and educated me this entire time and the reassurance you give me helps me remember that I'm on the right path to success - and that BIS version of myself I've always meant to be is now within reach ♡♡♡♡♡ no one will ever know how much that support system has meant to me during this journey. It has kept me in check and im forever grateful.
