BREAKING NEWS: Love and Deepspace hits catastrophic new low in terms of reception Globally!
It dropped from 4.4* to 2.2* overnight, and now has over 100,000 negative reviews from players as of 10AM, July 1st, 2026. This is the worst the game has been received since its inception.
Global players have begun to review bomb the game, leaving MILLIONS of negative reviews everywhere.
Infold and Papergames have, after their public address, went even further and absolutely NUKED every instance of Valko from their Youtube channel. No trailers, no livestreams, no YT shorts, nothing.
Naturally, this has upset even more players, as they're trying to sweep any and every instance of his existence under the rug, almost like he never existed.
This is TRAGIC. Completely disrespectful to their players, to their developers that invested YEARS of their time into creating him. What a waste.
To think: A lot of this could've been avoided if they'd just released a roadmap of some sort in advance.

I think they need to table it for a year. Get the game to a more stable and updated place. Find a solid direction with each LI, reconsider the super dark aspects they added in Valkos story and revamp,then release him later. I will be sending a message through my channels advocating for change, not cancellation.

First of all, thank you for listening to your community and for being willing to communicate with us so openly. We appreciate the effort and sincerity behind your letter.
However, we respectfully ask you to reconsider the decision to cancel Valko.
Many of us have been waiting for the sixth Love Interest for a very long time. From the very beginning of the game, there have been six Stellactrum colors, leading many players to believe that one day all six would become complete Love Interests. Valko's reveal wasn't just an announcement—it was the fulfillment of something we had been anticipating for a long time.
After seeing his trailer, learning about his personality, and catching glimpses of his role in the story, we became genuinely excited to meet him. We want to experience his journey, discover his story, and see how he grows alongside the other Love Interests. Please don't take that opportunity away from us.
We understand that some members of the community had concerns, and we respect that every player deserves to be heard. At the same time, we hope you will also hear the voices of those of us who were excited for Valko and wanted to welcome him into Linkon City.
We believe that the work already poured into his character by your writers, artists, animators, composers, voice actors, and developers deserves to be experienced rather than abandoned. Valko is more than just a new banner—he represents years of creativity, passion, and dedication from your team.
If necessary, we would rather wait longer for his release than lose him forever. Delaying his debut or adjusting future plans would be far easier to accept than cancelling him completely.
Please reconsider this decision. Let Valko's story be told. Let us meet the sixth Love Interest we have been waiting for, and allow Linkon City to continue growing with all of its planned characters.

I have seen some unrest in Xavier's part of the fandom recently that is very disheartening as it mischaracterizes him and his symbology. I have seen where some Xavier mains are complaining that the new LI Valko is using a symbol that has been a canon Xavier symbol - The Moon. They are asking that it be removed from Valko's symbols.
I am here to dispel that. First, let's look at Xavier. Xavier's primary symbols include his light evol and Stars. The moon is represented mostly in his myth, Lumiere. The moon is used with his light evol to help with attacks and shadows. So, it is used to enhance battle techniques. Outside that myth, you have some instances where the moon has been present, but it is not in his primary symbols. And, Xavier can still function as his full character without the moon's presence.
Now, here are some things to consider. Valko is a werewolf, and the moon is a primary symbol of his persona. Without it he cannot be a werewolf. Without the moon, his character could not exist in it's current form. The wolf form always relies on the moon's phases.
Let's also insert Rafayel as God of Tides and the Lemurian Sea God. There are numerous instances, written and visual of the moon in his myths, and within his cards. Without the moon, the tides would not exist, and the ocean itself would cease to exist in the form in which it currently is. So, Rafayel also uses the moon as a symbol within his lore.
Sylus also has moon visuals. Upon his entrance in the game, he is seen in front of a red moon. And, his special Glint background includes this red moon.
I am not aware at the moment of Zayne or Caleb's use of the moon within their lore, but I am sure it is present, if anyone would like to enlighten us.
Also realize that this is a Sci-Fi game, and with the title of 'Deepspace,'so the use of anything dealing with cosmology is standard and probably used for any and all of the men interchangeably.
Point is...Xavier is NOT tied to the moon exclusively as a canon symbol. This goes for each character and their symbols. We need to really pay attention to the characters and their lore. Without knowing others' lore, if you are a purist in one or more people, but are unaware of others' lore, please do research before attacking the game, the players or the company. This is part of the issue we are having within the fandom.
I will not be tagging or copy/pasting the OG posts I see, as I am not going to call out people maliciously. I just need it known that homework must be done prior to making such claims. I see far too much hate and confusion when there are so many people out there that share lore, and there are free ways to go watch cards, such as YouTube.
From one Xavier main...to the rest of the LADS girlies...let's love our men and keep them from being mischaracterized in a healthy, positive manner.

If MC is the "Prey," she isn't a victim. She is an active participant. She knows the rules, knows the Hunter is watching, and chooses to lead the chase. She controls the tempo, testing his patience to see how far he’ll go to close the gap.
It turns their relationship into a high-stakes competition of who can make the other "surrender" first. I'm just sat here waiting for the mask to slip, because when the Hunter finally stops pretending and the Prey stops running... that’s where the real fun begins🤭

Just wanna say this, Xavier mains, we really held it down🥺 Through all the “boring” takes, the constant oversimplifying of his character… we stayed appreciating him for what he actually is.
And now that Sunken Glow is out and more people are finally seeing a different side of him, it’s kind of… interesting to watch.
Not surprising though😌 Because Xavier was never lacking. This intensity people are reacting to right now?? It didn’t just appear out of nowhere. It’s the same Xavier, just more unguarded, more exposed. The way he looks at you like you’re the only thing grounding him, and the way you meet him in that same intensity, wanting and being wanted…
it’s always been there.
I’m really happy he’s getting more appreciation now. He deserves that. But to the ones who saw him before all this?? Thank you for loving him exactly as he is, from the very beginning🫶🏻

✨Sunken Glow: When the Desert Finally Claims Its Garden🦋 Xavier’s Sunken Glow card is finally here, and the story feels like a total dream come true for him🥹 It perfectly blends his quiet altruism with a profound sense of longing; he’s always doing these grand, selfless things (like donating to preserve a dying garden) only to act like it's no big deal. The fact that he did it all just so he could visit that one special place with someone he likes is truly peak Xavier behavior😣 This longing goes deeper than just a simple date, as Xavier has spent centuries wandering. In this moment, however, he is finally rooting himself in MC's heart. It’s not just romantic gestures I think it’s a desperate(?) beautiful claim of belonging that makes the setting feel so much more meaningful🥺 That emotional depth leads directly into the Kindled scene, which is where things get truly dangerous for our sanity. Xavier’s eyes are doing all the heavy lifting!! He has this pleading, submissive gaze that somehow feels incredibly dominant because of how focused he is on MC. Every touch and whisper makes it feel as if they are the only two people left in the universe. It’s possessive, yet so painfully tender, capturing the very best of their dynamic💕 So… Misty Silhouette might still hold the crown for pure narrative tension, but Sunken Glow has officially taken the throne for raw, worshipping passion and I’m officially a permanent resident of this garden🤭
