I have had such bad experiences with artists that now I’m genuinely scared to spend a lot of money on art 😭 Like there’s genuinely two artists left that I fully trust with my money and one is my designer

I try to do art style studies, where I guess how an artist’s technique is applied in their work and do it on my own original work. I discourage direct copying because it doesn’t help your brain process what works best for you. But I usually don’t go on hiatus for that reason.

I was outcasted when my scars are seen. And I do not think selfharm of any kind should be normalized, and as such, I always discourage drinking and smoking to the people who wanted to spend time with me.
With that said, I think anything that is close to addiction is selfharm.
