In awe tonight watching the Artemis II launch. I was honoured to meet the Canadian astronaut aboard this historic mission, Jeremy Hansen @Astro_Jeremy this past fall in Parliament. Godspeed to these brave souls as they travel farther than any human has travelled from Earth. 🇨🇦 🌎

Canada needs to build oil and gas infrastructure immediately to guarantee continuity of supply and relative price stability, regardless of what crisis, war, or destabilizing event occurs around the world. This means, among other things, building pipelines to Eastern Canada so we are no longer dependent on foreign oil, and refineries in British Columbia so we are no longer dependent on gasoline refined in Washington State. This should have been done years ago, but we are where we are. It’s time to get shovels in the ground and to get to work!

It was great to be part of the grand opening of the Durham Resettlement Assistance Program (RAP) House and the Oshawa/Clarington Welcome Centre Community Development Council Durham — supporting newcomers as they begin building their lives in our community. Bloc leader Yves-François Blanchet says, though they were initial advocates for high speed rail, they do not support how the Carney Liberals are attempting to implement it but overriding jurisdictions and with massive land acquisition.
