Good morning Canberra! There's 54 households waking up with wonderful new pets in the ACT today - that's how many adoption were made from our Weston shelter last week. That figure includes a whopping 38 kittens! Alas, there'll be plenty more available this week too!

We held a 'ringworm lockdown' day last week to get more kittens desexed and ready for adoption. It's a big quarantine job, nobody else comes into the clinic and the cleaning routine is vigorous! Now, can we interest you in adopting a kitten? How: buff.ly/4jQ4d6B

🚨 Another important reminder: It's far too hot to be walking your dogs.🚨 After about 9am up until after 8pm each day this week in Canberra, the road, the pavement, wooden decks, your ute tray, artificial turf and more are simply too hot for your dog to walk on.
