Michigan's athletic department budget is one of the highest in the country.
It's men's basketball program spent just $14.4M, ranking 26th in the country, a fraction of UConn's $21.6M budget.
But it was the Wolverines who cut the net down.

Both teams worked so hard to get to this stage, the fans travelled so far and sold kidneys for these tickets, they all deserve something better than a ref show. Nobody paid to watch the refs. @NCAA
