@goodmaxxedfyre @VNagy1990 @DailyMail Look I see from your profile you are maybe a bit a fragile soul. I don’t want to push this too much. I’d be all for cutting that loan if it helped the UK and didn’t hurt people that just want to study and contribute but that’s not what will happen. It will cost the economy.

@samcrick7 @VNagy1990 @DailyMail Why are you focusing on EU students? Are you serious? Using an EU student debt figure and then an international figure for the benefit to the economy?

@goodmaxxedfyre @VNagy1990 @DailyMail Do we want to bring that debt down. Yes of course. But to think that not offering loans won’t have an effect is delusional. Same with UK students. Most don’t have £30,000 in the bank to just go to uni do they?

@goodmaxxedfyre @VNagy1990 @DailyMail Ok here are some facts. And base this purely on investment. PLEASE think this through. If student numbers go down due to this loan system stopping ( which it will) currently 2024-2025 saw 14% dip in International students then this will have a further impact.

@goodmaxxedfyre @VNagy1990 @DailyMail The total outstanding debt from international (EU) borrowers is roughly £5.8 billion as of March 2025. In contrast, international students contribute a net benefit of £37.4 billion

Our international students are keeping my place afloat. Visa restrictions are already not tempting for them to come here. These loans affect a small number of these students but still. These guys are working hard here to make a living and study. But we have the boat guys coming and taking everything.

@goodmaxxedfyre @VNagy1990 @DailyMail So first of all. Those are not the countries that have this loan system in place. Most of these will be students from EU countries. So not sure what the logic is there. Other than not likin people that look different. 👀

@goodmaxxedfyre @VNagy1990 @DailyMail We covered this mate. Ffs I’m guessing you maybe you didn’t study yourself. 🤦‍♂️. If they take the loan away then in a competitive world market of universities the🇬🇧 will lose international students. This means less money. With a loan at least there is money paid back with interest

@goodmaxxedfyre @VNagy1990 @DailyMail In a country complaining about people not learning the language I find this quite funny. 🤣But yes some people game the system, sadly happens in all walks of life. Just a thought, maybe make those courses more scrutinised and checked and not destroy all money the country gets? 🤷‍♂️

@goodmaxxedfyre @VNagy1990 @DailyMail Yeah cool. Bring down the international student fees and then get rid of the loan. Guessing you don’t know how much international students pay for uni? 🤦‍♂️
