Good god, near where my crash took place. Hope the rider is OK and would you believe it, but the driver who caused me to crash into the woman who swerved to avoid him, couldn't trace the driver. If it happens again, will clearly make sure I prang the right car

@sciencebase About 50 in the orchard today as a rough guess. Definitely not as big a flock as we usual have.

Despite the abundance of fruit & berries, there seem to be far fewer birds this winter. Fieldfares and redwings have arrived, but only in tens, not the hundreds we’re used to seeing in the orchard. Anyone else noticing the same? @Natures_Voice @SongBirdSBS

@yudzp2r A lot of birds that I’ve seldom seen used to be in large numbers here years ago. Short eared Owl is one example, I haven’t seen one this year.

The Black-bellied Dipper at Bintree Mill had been really elusive, until today, when it showed well virtually all day. Here it is feeding right under the mill building itself. My 11th Dipper in Norfolk, but first for 7 years (More pics as usual on my cleybirds.com.)
