according to hyobin-nim, yeonwu isn’t really a masochist. he’s more of a brat. he enjoys teasing and challenging rosa, and deep down, he seems to have certain expectations of her. that’s why he’s always trying to provoke the reaction he wants from her.

I thought Suryeon marrying YW had some huge hidden agenda behind it and that Season 1 would end with a major reveal. major twist, like YW being connected to some powerful family or something else. Instead the finale explained YW and Rosa’s obsession with each other (1)

@serenacodedacc It's just that I think it gave a lot of screen to Rosa's friend, but I also think it was to reveal the sadistic taste of the FL, the first seasons are always to present the characters and know the position of each one.

I will be forever emotional abt the fact that at the ending he rejects girls telling he can’t forget someone. Jeha love for Moran was really special we don’t talk about it enough

I’m so emotional over how beautifully Jeha’s entire character arc is tied to spring. I know "Ha" means summer too, his birthday is in the spring, and ending the story surrounded by cherry blossoms is just perfectly telling about his new and beautiful beginnings 😭🌸

@serenacodedacc @UTa1445396 Plus, after the backlash, she might likely listen since she does read comments and lower his appearance after how so many got very disappointed. With Siho, a good amount of Jeha stans liked him too, so it wasn't a big backlash like this guy.

@serenacodedacc like to me ending the season with the finality of yeonwu handing the ring back is such a powerful sort of statement. it kind of solidified to me that they were willing to dive into their relationship fully and couldn’t be finished with each other. the ambience is there.

to be honest, reading back i sort of love the calm feeling of this finale. it’s not very high-tension or dropping massive plot twists - sure, but it feels so fitting. it’s like rosa and yeonwu finally plunging into their relationship fully, acknowledging their want for the other.

Louder for the people in the back! Knowing someone first doesn't mean a thing. He was never "owned" by anyone until Suryeon came along to rescue him. Let’s not forget that everything Rosa has right now is all thanks to Suryeon in the first place. 💅
