Japan is one of the snowiest countries in the world, especially along the Sea of Japan. Cities such as Niigata, Toyama & Nagano regularly record several meters of snow. Mountainous areas can exceed 10 meters in a season. Photos were taken at the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.

i get my salary every month. i invest it regularly either in stocks or mutual funds. so far, i’ve been managing my portfolio myself. but i’m at a point where i want a second brain - not someone to “sell” me products. I’m looking for a long-term wealth manager/financial advisor who can help me: - think clearly about asset allocation - stay disciplined with monthly investing - reduce emotional decision-making and compound my portfolio i’m not looking for: - random stock tips - high-churn trading strategies - commission-based product pushing here's what i want: - someone who understands salaried cash flows - calm, rational advice during market highs and lows we shoud build trust consistently. if you’re a wealth manager who works this way or you know someone you genuinely trust, my DMs are open. my goal is not to get rich overnight. i am trying to build wealth the boring, sustainable way.

Looks like I’m going to be in BLR next week. Working during the day but free in the evenings if anyone wants to meet up. I’m excited I just got my first client where I help with org design. Recruiting is fun but working with CTOs and leadership to navigate inflection points in a company’s journey is just muah. I love working on the machine.

A successful phone recharge in India bombards you with at-least 4 text messages + 2 emails. This is without including txn confirmation messages/emails from payment aggregators. I cant even imagine what would happen if the recharge fails!

@vinodchendhil We charge 49 for COD right from beginning. There's a mixed response from the customers, but our prices are so low that we can't take that hit & make it a point to explain the customer's who abandon cart

Recently bought from XYXX and they charged ₹29/- on the order for delivery. So is it safe to say that we are entering into an era where d2c brands may finally charge for the product very reasonably but pass on delivery charges to the consumer. Even large platforms like amz, Blkt, etc have started doing so. Are we seeing an end to the freebie era where costs were borne by the brands/platforms and now it is shifting to consumers?

I have always enjoyed watching kishore biyani’s interviews. The guy has good rationales for all his opinions. And the fact that he still likes to stay up-to-date with today’s world, helping new-gen founders is amazing!

@matiks_play great app, having fun playing! Suggestion: introduce some emojis that one can share after a duel. Sometimes the duel gets intense and you win/lose by one but you still feel like sending some respect for the opponent.

We at @tursodatabase rewrote our API in Go, using AI. And the results are great. Recently, I gave the team a mandate: the Turso Cloud had to scale to a billion databases. I also sent a memo: everything we do now, must be done by AI. To scale to that level, we replaced our API that was written in Go in a way that sucks, by Go code that doesn't suck. And to abide by the A.I. mandate, I asked Avinash (@iavins) to do it, using Avinash's Intelligence. The results? Even though there's more work to do, our API is now ready for the challenge. All the hot deets here: turso.tech/blog/we-rewrot…
