post-shattering imo. the specificity of “an emptiness filled your hands” in the poem that seemingly describes him immediately post-shatter is very intentional… a mark of his hubris and fate. if they are akin to stigmata as well, them being a post-shatter issue makes sense.

This scene is perfect. The two screen split in the middle gives the impression of a mirror. Modern Narcissus meeting his greatest fear. Everything is here. The awkward gestures. The flood of Pepsi revealing the character’s obsessive traits. The inability to form a word.
