Allegedly, the government is going to grant Harry his security request for Invictus. That’s more taxpayer dollars for one event. Apparently, the government does not want you to know because it is unpopular.

It's the same thing as people saying they are getting their half-in/half-out. It takes more than being a prince/duke/duchess to be "in". These past weeks should have made it very clear to the world that Harry and his wife are not attached to the monarchy in any way, shape or form. Trump and Putin, casually swatted Harry's comments as nothing. Any kind of royal branch or self-contained anything they might try to create is joke.

Its impossible to know what these nutters are doing. Now they are calling themselves self contained royals? How can you be self contained royals in a country not recognising royalty? Who has given permission? Why do they want to do it? Its impossible to find out who or what they are other than, nutters desperate to be royal

How is Invictus charging for over $100k per veteran but they still have to pay for all the expenses to participate. Meanwhile, warrior games runs on just $2 million total?

The part of these kind of articles that bug me is the "they don't need Charles, they don't need the palace" if that were even remotely true they would 1. Drop all titles (yes, he was born a prince but he can drop the titles if he wants, no one is forcing him to use them), don't use the cyher, don't use anything that would attach them to the royal family at all and 2. Not do cosplay "royal" tours (where they say it's personal but they want to act and be treated like royals). If they do those 2 things, then I'll believe they don't need Charles or the palace.

Melania Trump Melania Trump’s style has a huge internet/social media following. She combines the glamour of her supermodel looks with the power look of structured, tailored pieces and classic silhouettes for formal occasions. Whilst she has given interviews in which she is pretty forthright in her views, there is an unknowability about her which is hard to pull off in the public eye. She seems confident in her own skin.

@ARamblingRoyal I think the King not going to Invictus would have nothing with modernizing the monarchy and everything with not wanting to be used by Harry for his own gain.
