And the 2024-2025 Blue Springs School District Teacher of the Year is… Mr. Jordan Lockwood of @PaulKinderMS! 🏆 Mr. Lockwood is a social studies teacher in his fifth year at the @BSSDnews. He serves as a track coach and coding club sponsor. Jordan is the first-ever BSSD Teacher of the Year from Paul Kinder Middle School. Congratulations, Mr. Lockwood! #WeAreBSSD

Staffing needs in our schools continue to change to meet the needs of students and the community. The offices and meeting spaces at @fse_mustangs, @JWEWarriors, and @BSSDWYE schools would be expanded as part of the No Tax Rate Increase Bond Issue. Additional spaces would allow staff like mental health professionals, school resource officers, social workers, and counselors to have dedicated and private spaces to best serve students and families.
