When I worked in Leeds, we had the third busiest emergency department in the country. A British man in his 40s tragically died waiting in the hallway outside of the department with acute pancreatitis. He was not the only patient to die in that corridor. There was hardly a day when very unwell patients weren't lined up in the corridors and waiting in ambulances outside the ED because they couldn't be offloaded. The NHS does not have enough staff (especially doctors), beds, or ambulances.
But here we are loaning NHS ambulances for a private service.
This is not generosity, this is supremacy.

@Councillorsuzie Yep - four ambulances with them now are on loan. We’re funding permanent replacements, too. That means that the money being donated will deliver over and above what they had before the attack: stronger, not weaker. Hate can’t win.
