Stayed at the Parker Meridian, NYC. Emptied refrigerated mini-bar to chill a cheap bottle of wine I'd bought in an offie 'round the corner. Reception called, demanding I settle an $800 bill. The fridge was electronically monitored. I had to explain what I'd done. The shame of it.
