@XJosh Please post these purported federal court orders or opinions. I don’t think they exist. A database of AI 142+ hallucinations in legal has three that appeared in legal opinions or orders. All were in state courts. None were enforced.

My attorney is personally fascinated with an ongoing issue: a lot of federal judges (who can't be fired, ever, btw) are using AI to draft opinions. The results are ENFORCED ORDERS that cite parties not relevant to the case and who do not exist, and case law that never happened.
Eric W.@EWess92

Yikes! Another hallucinated opinion, this time justifying a temporary restraining order enjoining enforcement of a State law. The rush to issue orders like this undermines the judiciary. Even worse--apparently the "corrected" opinion still has a hallucinated case . . .

@XJosh @yourbuddybrady The database of AI hallucinations has 140+ in the U.S. in various briefs submitted by lawyers. In only three did the hallucinations appear in orders issued by state not federal judges; two were withdrawn by the judges, the third overturned. None enforced.

@yourbuddybrady Requires 1/2 from House and 2/3rds from Senate to impeach and remove a Federal judge. There is no world in which either party would vote to remove their judge. They would rather have judges using AI to enforce their political agendas than have any integrity in the court.

Breaking news: @CNN has learned that at least 5 pilots in the US reported problems controlling Boeing 737 Max 8 jets during critical moments of flight in recent months, according to records in a federal government incident database. Why are these jets still flying in the US???

@grassroothawaii I saw something about O’Toole’s talk, but it wasn’t clear he had looked at Hawaii specifically. I can circle back to this later.

Shouldn’t have been surprised by this #NationalChampionship first half. Tua’s faith in Christ was no match for Trevor Lawrence looking like Jesus in a Dallas Baptist Megachurch’s mural.

@nickgrube Right, Nick. Kaneshiro and Chasid have to know that they could talk about the grand jury if they wanted to. In fairness, the statement they put out accurately summarizes a rule related to juries. The problem is the statement implies the rule applies to them here, and it doesn’t.

I guess intentionally misleading the public with an official statement from your office is one way to dodge questions about being the target of a DOJ criminal investigation civilbeat.org/2018/12/expert…

If at Thanksgiving you have either a conversation like this... Uncle: So is Jenny liking kindergarten? You: YOU ARE AN ACCESSORY TO GENOCIDE ...or this... Niece: Have you played any good golf courses lately? You: ROBERT E LEE IS A HERO ...then you are bad at Thanksgiving.

@markrau @danielrlam @CivilBeat The AG’s explanation for using “surcharge” instead of “tax” was highly technical and seemed to baffle even some of the justices. And the phrase “as provided by law,” some said, made it seem the surcharge already was allowed. So Justice Wilson asked if the phrase was needed.

@stewartyerton @danielrlam @CivilBeat I think “surcharge” and “as provided by law” is just semantics and should’ve been overcome by HSSC. However, the “investment real property” issue is a valid one and easy to use as a scare tactic. But, it seems many other municipalities have figured that one out already too...

@markrau @danielrlam @CivilBeat This might have been OK: “Shall the legislature be authorized to establish a tax on real property to be used to support public education?”

@danielrlam @CivilBeat @stewartyerton I do not disagree. Maybe I’m just curious... how could it have been worded better? Without being too specific? Again, not my wheelhouse...
