@Hekitike22 League aways used to be half days or flexible hours made up on other days. Euro early flight back next day so 2 days leave used, but depends on flights travel available. Cost was mad and that was 20yr ago now. Full credit to those from any club that do it regularly

How do people get so much time off work for away… especially the European aways

I find the collective assumption of guilt pretty funny. The charges are serious, yes - but the way people are already debating “appropriate punishments” as if a verdict has been delivered feels a little presumptuous and premature. 🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽

@MUFC_RA For someone doing a great gesture to kids and grassroots you should be respect enough to understand the difficulties around pricing and be proud getting tickets for kids giving them a chance to go to a match. Instead point scoring like a dickhead 👍

They’ve been offering free tickets in batches to Manchester grassroot clubs for the Fulham game. Nice gesture for kids but rather desperate attempt to paper over the embarrassment. This is a club expanding it’s capacity from 53,000 to 62,000 to display even more empty seats

The most frustrating thing is, having played them both recently, arsenal & City are miles off the Klopp & Pep teams. Miles. It was there for us to retain. For a variety of reasons, we really fucked it.

So if someone knocks a player out before the corner comes over, the referee doesn’t see it then nothing will be given as the ball wasn’t in play ? Referee failed to see it, VAR sees it but won’t give anything cos the referee didn’t see it? Yeah. Logical that.

@stuartj425 @FanHub People forget how difficult it was to get to night games in those days . I left work at 2 pm. It was a replay, so there was no time to organise anything. Small away followings weren't that unusual. Utd and then Liverpool travelled well . Utd took huge numbers, tbf

You don't have to agree with Jamie Carragher's opinions but as someone who grew up with him, the constant revisionism around his playing career infuriates me. Only one man has played more games for the club and he won nine major honours. Rightly considered a club legend.
