@crownedroi some ppl definitely use it as an insult, explicitly (and clearly implied but with plausible deniability). it’s okay to admit there are bad actors and ppl who dont align 100% with how monosexual means and is supposed to be used

it literally is not an insult. it is just a descriptor to describe people who don't have to deal with biphobia. we have been using it in academia for years. if you feel insulted or called out by the way bisexuals talk about the harm of biphobia you should sit with that.

It's interesting how people are trying to frame this as "anti-art," as if heterosexuality is supposed to be universally relatable and as soon as that gets challenged in any way, all artistic value in anything springing from it is suddenly under threat.
