Happy Juneteenth from Studio Smokescreen! Two years after the Emancipation Proclamation, news of freedom finally reached the last enslaved African Americans on June 19, 1865. Today, Juneteenth serves as a reminder that even after the ink dries, the pursuit of equality is ongoing!

So, whether an industry vet or up-and-coming artist, thanks for your work, camaraderie, and reminding us that the next big wave in animation isn’t coming, it’s already here!
