Discussed MegaETH raise 6 months ago and been watching closely since. Public ate good at TGE with a 2x, this is what we want to see more of. Also, now running an interesting incentivised onboarding campaign. Their Terminal program has $35M+ in rewards up for grabs based on real onchain activity. Worth looking at while the season is still early. Further observing on how their sentiment is positive is that their team genuinely understands ct & knows what sticks. TVL now stands at 12th with $600m. What stood out most is how they thought about distribution from the beginning. They let the community participate meaningfully before the VCs got everything. People ate with them leading to good sentiment - thats a flywheel every project needs.

On the one end, we see alts struggling with no one bidding them & thin liquidities.... And on the other hand we see tokens like $MEGA being 28x oversubscribed raising $1.4 billion in 3 days.... There is insane sideline money waiting to bid on the right products & projects.... For founders, give buyers clear reason to bid your project.

We need a major shift on how projects raise, deliver & build in web3. $SPC raised $20M valued at $69M FDV on a leveraged prediction market concept with no working product. Token is now $5M FDV, down 95% from TGE in 2 days. $TROVE raised $11.5M on a Hyperliquid narrative, pivoted to Solana hours before launch, and kept $9.4M while the token dropped 95% & now doesnt even exist. The deceiving playbook is consistent: strong brand, compelling narrative, public raise, then move the goalposts. Points to be noted for us on what to avoid. This does not also change until VCs start co-signing on delivery rather than just on the raise, platforms build accountability into the close rather than just volume into the fee, and public fundraises require a working MVP - not a deck. Platforms like echo should do better as well on not facilatating builders like these.
