@Airbuilder7 I imagine it could be used any time after she touched the rocks, as that's when she (conveniently) lost the healing spell but gained the rocks' invulnerability, I imagine the decay spell got zapped over to her then as well But ya no more Sundrop or Moonstone magic after PEEV lol

the fact that Gothel could use the healing spell on herself just by singing near Rapunzel to activate her magic suggests that anyone could say the decay spell near Rapunzel to activate her magic and enact harm through her and she'd be powerless to stop it, so that's neat

@Airbuilder7 ohhh i forgot that Lance and Eugene must've heard it when she was taking down Hector but of course they did, Hector holding them with the vines to kill them was exactly why she used it in the first place

@sundustss luckily(? lol) as far as we see on screen the only chars who hear the decay spell & would then know the words are Cassandra, Adira, Hookfoot & Shorty (💀), and Varian But anyone who went into the Great Tree like Hector could've read the scroll to know it too much 2 think abt..

@Airbuilder7 well when the worlds worst girl squad checked out the remains of the Great Tree it was implied that the incantation scrolls had gotten destroyed, so it's probably limited to the chars you listed as well as Shorty and Hookfoot (lol) who were there too when Rapunzel first read it

@tangledtxtposts Reminded again that black-eyed Raps is a banger look. 🖤 Hm. How many people know the full incantation & could activate it against her? Adira, Cass, Varian, & Hector? Would the Great Tree & incantation be more accessible now that Hector isn't ceaselessly guarding it?
