met a guy last week who reminded me of myself 10 years ago sharp kid. was a grinder told me his plan was simple: do great work and let it speak for itself i told him that plan cost me 3 years... the people who got promoted around me weren't always better than me they just understood something i didn't - it's not always what you know, it's who knows you coffee chats hallway conversations random DMs attending work happy hours showing face that's how your build relationships and relationships are how you grow your career

@TechSalesGuy really, I literally chose my career, hobbies by trying out but also interacting with people and getting feedbacks on their experience, results and feelings
