King Von full name is Dayvon Daquan Bennett, he was shot and killed on November 6, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia, at just 26 years old. That night, he was out celebrating the release of his album Welcome to O’Block with friends and family but those close to him noticed he wasn’t acting like himself.. he seemed on edge, as if he sensed something bad was coming. After leaving one club, Von suddenly told his driver to turn around and head to another spot called Marco’s, where his former friend and now rival, Quando Rondo, was hanging out. The two had been beefing for a while. When they arrived at the parking lot, Von stayed in the car with just a few people. His security and O’Block members quickly realized where he went and rushed over. As soon as one of his friends spotted Quando Rondo and pointed him out, Von stepped out and walked straight up to him. Words were exchanged, and within seconds, King Von punched Quando Rondo in the face. A full fight broke out between both groups and Von was winning the fight and beating Quando down. Then, out of nowhere, Quando Rondo’s associate, Lul Timm, stepped out of a car with a gun and opened fire on King Von. He shot him 6 times and Von collapsed to the ground bleeding heavily. His friends quickly picked him up, put him in the car, and rushed him to the hospital. While in the vehicle, he looked at one of his friends and said, “You let them get me.” He soon lost consciousness and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
