Scottish independence. Politics, sport, music and films. Colonialism is all about economic exploitation. Give your children and grandchildren a better future.

UK State propaganda attacks on Scotland are relentless, blatant and sickening. They are working flat out to brainwash us into believing that we are a uniquely incapable small country. Don’t grow old regretting that you failed your children and grandchildren. #ScottishIndependence

Scottish political journalism is now effectively professional Unionism. In short, hacks and reporters might not be Unionists, they just have to push whatever agenda Unionism requires at any given time in order to be successful. In many cases their career depends on it.

Celebrating the fantastic election result of our new MP for Arbroath and Broughty Ferry @larabirdsnp, with SNP activists in Monifieth. While Westminster descends into more chaos and infighting, we are focused on tackling the cost of living and delivering for Scotland.

SNP vote up 6% in Arbroath and down 4% in Aberdeen South. The Murrell scandal had zero impact. That, and its stance on Oil & Gas, will be the main takeaway for the SNP. Labour down 18% in Arbroath and 19% in Aberdeen. That's a collapse. Sarwar can't remain branch manager.

Paul Hutcheon is becoming more and more ridiculous with every passing day. Never mind asking if Sarwar can remain Labour branch manager, can Hutcheon remain political editor with such laughable claims?

Yesterday Paul Hutcheon claimed the Aberdeen South by-election was about Peter Murrell. That claim lasted less than 24 hours. He's now been forced to admit it was about Oil & Gas. How did Hutcheon get it so wrong?

The BritNat hacks are raging that they've lost their privilege to roam the corridors of Holyrood. Here's a bit of advice. Stop behaving like Unionist activists, confronting mostly SNP & Green MSPs with ugly smears and insults disguised as questions. Behave like mature adult journalists. Challenge all party's equally & respectfully. Don't make stuff up.

The SNP should refine its stance on Oil & Gas to one of favouring new exploration citing world conflicts and couple it with a demand for investment in renewables from profits to help the transition. Also look out for the party making a case for Scotland having control over the sector.

BritNats and their allies from the media have been abusing the Scottish parliament for years. Committees hijacked, vote stunts arranged, PO smeared. Hacks accosting mainly SNP & Green MSPs. Verbal abuse and tawdry smears disguised as questions. Treat them accordingly.

Very disappointed with the result in Aberdeen South, @theSNP vote remains strong but it is clear that tactical voting has had a real impact on the result. Congratulations to Douglas Lumsden. Well done to @thomsonrichardg and his dedicated team for their efforts.

Wee Ginger Dug - “A Gregg’s sausage roll has more emotional intelligence than Keir Starmer.” True. I doubt however that Burnham will have the courage to make a difference. Too many right-wing pressures in England to allow him to make radical changes. #ScottishIndependencePlease

What Scottish Labour spent on doomed Holyrood campaign in Glasgow and Edinburgh Sarwar spent £18,423.96 during the long campaign and £12,131.23 in the short sprint to polling day, bringing the total to £30,555.19. He was, by some distance, Labour’s most expensive candidate in the city.thenational.scot/news/26207783.…

FACT CHECK Reason for the sectioned off area was because after #FMQs there was always a crowded scrum of reporters which caused a bottleneck in the main lobby as MSPs were leaving the Chamber NOTHING is stopping ANYONE asking questions CHEESUS PLEASE don’t play the woman card🙄

Seeing the pen this morning made my heart sink. For women in political journalism, being heard in a crowded scrum is already hard enough. Physical restrictions only make it easier for our questions to be missed. Transparency shouldn't come with barriers. heraldscotland.com/news/26206998.…
