Owen Freeman has entered the portal. After averaging 16.7 PPG at Iowa, he averaged 5.0 PPG at Creighton. This was expected. Best move on both sides

@CreighTakes I thought he would stay around. I know he is still a bit of a work in progress but the kid has a work ethic and he just keeps getting better. He has big time leadership potential and a big heart. He was also one of the few who would communicate on the court.

He will always be remembered for the Big East Tournament game against DePaul. One of the best teammates out there. Best of luck Ty!💙

@ByJonWalker Dude, NO WAY!! Loved his hustle and his talking. He was the only guy talking on the court when he was out there. I know he still needs work to be a point guard at this level but he could still be really really good.

@whoaitscharlie @td_nash Just cause that legendary event popped off before you were born don't mean it wasn't pure gold!! Stop demeaning the their efforts and amazing accomplishments. You probably never competed at that level and have no clue what today’s and yesteryear’s athletes go through.

It's UCLA, but it was more like women's basketball back then where only a handful of teams really cared/had resources to pursue it like they did. But UConn's run in the 2000s is impressive.
