At first all the reports were of a single seat F-35. You don't tell the enemy actually it was a two seat F-15E and there's two crew, not one, that you should be looking for. The public is not owed minute by minute updates on sensitive rescue operations. Transparency is good but it can't come at the expense of operational security.
