@HamasakiLaw Surprised more folks aren't alarmed by how traffic killings in this city are ignored. On almost all of my walks around town I can count on both hands how many cars cruise thru stop signs, speed in neighborhoods, drive in bike lanes, and the list goes on.

Insulin should be free. All healthcare should be free.

Anyways, this is just a warning for y'all that your landlord can pass down the cost of seismic retrofitting on to you. It's not really a win/win for anyone except those reaping the benefits off of the working class.

I raised the question of the cost of living in the City especially after coming off of a pandemic and I was told to look into tenant financial hardship, which wasn't my point at all but that's how my statement was interpreted.

Just sat in on a call w/#sfrentboard as my landlord wants to increase our rent due to the retrofitting work they performed in 2018 (something that is mandated by San Francisco). I wanted to sit in because I could and because I was curious about the process.
