@uintsnft relaunch or something in the future? time you chose to launch was pretty disappointing as well as the time window for holders to free claim. been holding my uints patiently for months now and was looking forward to this.. just assumed you'd delay with state of NFT market.

Totally hear your point about high gas. It wasn’t anywhere near this high when I planned and announced the dates, but it’s definitely tough to work with. Everything in the contract is set, but UINTS can be combined on uints.com/combine to make higher numbers. Realize this also takes gas, but hopefully these high rates don’t last long. 🤞

@WFIFWI9 Once you connect your wallet on the site, as long as you have a UINTS, you should see a claim button. That will take you through the steps 👍

@WFIFWI9 If you’re trying to change the art, you also need an Edition. Did you claim your free mints?

@WFIFWI9 Make sure you’re connected to the site with the wallet that holds UINTS. You might be connected to the wrong wallet.

📢 Quick update about the minimum value UINTS required to change the art. It will increase daily (starting today at 0) using this rate: DAYS * (DAYS / 10) + 1 At 311 days, the minimum will be locked at 9,999 forever.

~5 hours until the free claim/mint for UINTS collectors starts. The official link is edition.uints.com, which can also be accessed from uints.com.

@BANANOKINGeth @Kanyesweatz Thanks for sharing! Sounds like a cool concept. Snapshots are really similar, just in a separate collection. One benefit to higher supply is greater distribution. When changing the art, all Editions will be updated.

@uintsnft @Kanyesweatz This could help to reduce supply of "unfreezed" Open Edition NFTs. Some freezed ones will be rare. Makes sense I think 🙂

@Kanyesweatz Thanks for sharing! It might make sense to have the minimum increase at a rate that starts slower and then gets larger as time goes on. I’ll experiment with it and see if there’s a better fit.

@uintsnft I see where you’re coming from but my initial reaction/ concern is that it seems like a lot of people would be out-priced a bit too quickly with the minimum increasing at the rate of +9/ 9 hrs

Hardcoded, but hasn’t been deployed yet. I considered increasing the minimum with the number of changes instead of time, but opted for time since it’s more predictable than the number of changes. The more often/sudden the minimum increases, the more likely it is to cause a failed transaction.

@uintsnft very, very interesting. curious to see how many players will be willing to continue burning uints to keep pace with the 'minimum'. can the rate at which the minimum increases be changed or is it hardcoded into the contract as +9 every 9 hrs?

@uintsnft so whoever holds the largest value uint(s) controls the art of the entire collection? 👀

@BANANOKINGeth @Kanyesweatz There is a way to take a “snapshot” of the current art - which would be permanent, but a separate NFT. What do you have in mind?

@uintsnft 900 hours after mint ends ill need a uints with a value of 900 or greater to make changes to my edition?
