@aegeanairlines Why are you creating wrong impressions @aegeanairlines ? In DM there is a Bot talking to me . Which for the last 30 minutes is idle . How is this “support” ?

@aegeanairlines It’s too vague what kind of refund we can opt for . What the voucher is about … The problem is getting to our families for Easter . So this offer is suboptimal . Why don’t you arrange for a flight next day ? On another hand … σηκώστε και κάνα τηλέφωνο επιτέλους ! 🫤

@100trillionUSD @RWMaloneMD @GVDBossche What i see as a personal view … the facts are the same . The difference is in the “error bar” . One side anticipates only a lower decimal correction , the other one close to a couple σ (sigma) deviation 😅

What if Luc is right, and governments are wrong about forced mass vaccination? Luc is not alone, see Dr @RWMaloneMD (inventor mRNA vaccines), Dr Mike Yeadon (ex Pfizer), Dr @GVDBossche, Dr Peter McCullough, Dr Ryan Cole, Dr. Bhakdi etc: consistent science. thenewamerican.com/french-nobel-p…

@100trillionUSD Paying for newsletter feels really weird and very corporate to me - except if you want to become crypto-Bloomberg . But paying for a seminar or workshop sound much more reasonable and interesting 😉

Reading recent news and back-and-forth emails ... It’s sad to be reminded once again ... that companies tend to follow an army-like org and decision model, instead of a more democratic or even community focused one ... #IStandWithTimnit #SolidarityWithTimnit

1/Man there’s so much to pick apart. Let’s start with one thing. I want to ask if Jeff Dean has looked at the publication approval policy that he keeps on mentioning in his email. Like, for example, a simple look at the website? Let’s read.

@rakyll Maybe, to put it in another way ... „how people are stuck on labeling and categorizing individuals based on titles“ . Most of the times ... it’s not the words or the tools that are to blame, but each person ... who decides how to use them 🤔

Titles matter. 10 years ago, when I was junior, I didn’t go for promo for a while. I accumulated more leadership over time. My perf said I’m splitting myself too thin even though I was just performing at the next level. I got promoted and my next perf appreciated my “thin” split.

If we continue doing things the way we always have (or the way “everyone” does) we are never going to “go” forward ...

@qikipedia the next significant y2k type bug is 03:14:07 19 Jan 2038. the time when many systems currently tracking datetime as a number of seconds since 1st Jan 1970 00:00:00 run out of space to store the number.

@martinfowler @marick I would dare to say , it all depends on the cost e.g. maintenance and time available to „experiment“. But also the time frame of „prematurity“ e.g. when exactly down the road(-map) will the abstraction become actually really valuable.

@marick I'm maybe swimming against the stream here, but I don't see premature abstraction as a problem, iff you are prepared to refactor away from it as you learn its flaws. The trick is to experiment with abstractions in order to find one that best fits.
