I wish every volleyball coach in the country could see this… 🗣️ STOP WEARING HATS ON THE SIDELINES WHEN YOU ARE COACHING!!! We coach an indoor sport. There are no health benefits. Players don’t wear them during the match. Look like a coach! YOU ARE JUDGED ON HOW YOU LOOK/ACT!

Every so often I come across a video of something that encapsulates William Penn MVB. Certainly not trying to compare us to the likes of the FL Panthers, but man is this culture just like ours. Looks like I have a new favorite NHL team to follow #wake

Typically after our season ends, our graduating seniors no longer participate in team stuff (lifts, meetings, etc) Last week our 3 seniors all asked if they could keep lifting with the team because “they just want to spend as much time with the guys before they leave” #wake

Year 6 ✅

3rd set, up 8 points. 4 year senior comes in to serve. Look how locked in the bench is. And then the reaction from the entire bench, coaches included. True #MUDITA right there. You don’t get this unless your entire program buys into every single person #wake

I really appreciate that both Rick Pitino and John Calipari still wear suits on the sidelines.

First time we don’t have a number next to our name in over 3 years and we knock off #4 on the road. These guys are WP MVB through and through! Proud of these men!

I don’t like Deion Sanders. My opinion aside…why does he feel the need to constantly wear sunglasses inside? Personal pet peeve of mine but I just don’t get it. Sunglasses are super cool. I wear them. But its like wearing a parka when its 75 degrees out. Is it just fashion?

Another year, another WP Men’s Volleyball Thanksgiving! Thankful for the opportunity to share this holiday with our guys who don’t get to be with their families #wake

I love these guys. The originators of talking heads in sports, but they’re the best to ever do it. No outrageous takes, no seeing who can scream louder, no acting. Just dudes talking sports after school.

You can win all the games in the world but a trophy or ring can never replace the effect you have one someone’s life in the time of need

Every time I find myself focusing on the wins, I’m quickly reminded that we do this because of the individuals we coach. If you don’t go home thinking about your athletes well-being, I challenge you to question your WHY. When it comes down to it, PEOPLE’S lives are in our hands

13 different All-American honors across 6 players over a 3 year span. Most in the NAIA. And now they get to hang outside our locker room for all to see. What a cool moment for a bunch of guys who will now be a part of history
