Since Anindita joined the company, atasanku selalu jodoh2in: "dapet salam dari Anin" and everytime, I blushed. Trs pas akhirnya satu ops, baru 2 hari, aku nawarin nemenin cari kos. Selanjutnya kita selalu cari makan & jln bareng. Akhir Feb ini jalan 1 tahun. Best decision.

SMP ke Gramed beli buku ini krn penasaran si kumis ada mslh apa. Pas baca smp chapter Vienna DNF karena trnyt dia pengecut dan cengeng. Org kiri gausah takut lah, org bisa dan bebas mikir mau menghamba ke tuhan yg mana. Jgn terjebak echo chamber ideologi sendiri, kaya fasis aje.

What a brilliant idea, to write about social relations in Rwanda scaled down to a Catholic girls school. I could read 1000 pages of these girls playing, gossiping and dreaming. A dark shadow hangs over the narrative, so the tragic ending wasn’t a surprise, but I’m still crushed.

Watched the video, he praised the novel and found it profoundly relatable despite being a straight male, which I think is the best part of reading fiction: you can experience a world outside your own and understand that in the end we’re all much alike.
