I never could stand Cormac McCarthy’s writing and now I have the cheeky evil thought of - since I do like the subject matter, the fabula - getting Claude to retell Blood Meridian Unfortunately under copyright until 2081 - I don’t think I will live that long

The NYTimes article/exploration on what people prefer when presented analogous pieces - 1. The writers I like I did pick them over Claude’s writing - and the ones I cannot stand, I ended up picking Claude’s writing 2. Of course they used Claude 🥹
