@walkeditoff @autosport When he was asked the question in AD Max literally told the journalist "and now you're looking at me with that stupid grin"... So I think it was part of the story from the very beginning.

Max Verstappen explains why he dismissed a British journalist from his media session in Japan: “I got that question quite often last year, and I think I answered it more than twenty times. So when someone asks that question during the press conference after the last race and also laughs in your face, to me that has to do with a complete lack of respect. If you don't give me respect, why would I give you respect? You only see the camera pointed at me and not at that person, who just started laughing. And you could clearly see that there was malicious intent behind it at that moment. That is enough for me. I have been in Formula 1 long enough to know who has good intentions and who has bad intentions. If you go and laugh at me right there, you clearly don’t have good intentions.” (via @viaplay)

Max Verstappen ejected a journalist from his news conference at the Japanese Grand Prix. It's because of a row that dates back to last year's season finale in Abu Dhabi.

Remarkably classy response, but there’s no excuse for Verstappen’s behavior. There are two very easy words for anyone who doesn’t want to give a journalist a quote: “no comment.” To use your position to have a journalist kicked out of a press conference is gross.

You would expect that in the five hours since they posted this at LEAST one person at Autosport would’ve realized this is not, in fact, Max Verstappen.

No, I dont think womens primary visibility in f1 should be as sex objects. They dont speak, they dont present, you dont even know their names. Its just their bodies used as props. It looks like a harem not a sport.

And meanwhile, in the entitled world of 20-something’s in the USA, Jack Hughes (and a bunch of people that don’t know how things work) is crying because the puck he shot that won the Olympic gold is in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
