@lidocaine_v2 @ragerkaze I have never seen anyone blame people zones for having APC governors and the general sentiment is that politicians are dishonest but it is always different when you guys talk about SW. It is a clear pattern.

@lidocaine_v2 @ragerkaze that was the popular sentiment. Despite the central govts and public outcry, APC still have 30 governors who are “aligned to the central” regardless of what their people think. You do understand that politicians are dishonest elsewhere but in SW, the people are responsible.

Easy for people in Lagos to be dismissive about herders attack because they just do not get it. I know local communities that stopped farming as far back as 20years ago because of Fuluni herdsmen. Crazy thing is many of these guys are not even Nigerians but they are so bold.

Of all my criticisms about Rotimi Akeredolu, one of his legacies will be how he handled the Amotekun issue in Ondo State. Tinubu and his APC members were being evasive and he stood up to Buhari and Malami. That was bravery and leadership.

@lidocaine_v2 @ragerkaze Anytime there are attacks in SW is when you guys reinforce some talking points regardless of how untrue. I think you should even be bold enough to mock them directly.

@lidocaine_v2 @ragerkaze It is a dishonest rhetoric and you know it. Why will people in SW because using Tinubu as a talking point for herders attack that started more than 10years ago? From Southerners to no, it is not us. You would think these herders haven’t attacked every part of the South but

@waterlooprincee @ragerkaze Huh? Who else will call Tinubu their brother if not his tribesmen? As for the farmers-herdsmen clash, that wasn’t the politicians. You think I’m scared to call out any tribe? Think again.

@lidocaine_v2 @ragerkaze You can’t even boldly correct a clear lie. You had to distinguish yourself. “Farmers/Herders clash” rhetorics when Amotekun literally rose as a result of herders attack. It is well with you guys because you guys will not leave anything out to score some points.

Michael Oyedokun’s family has written to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through their lawyer, appealing for urgent intervention following the reported death of Mr. Oyedokun Michael Olugbade. According to the statement: “Despite widespread national reports regarding the death of the late Mr. Oyedokun Michael Olugbade, his remains are yet to be seen or recovered. In these distressing circumstances, we respectfully appeal for Your Excellency’s urgent intervention to direct the relevant security and intelligence agencies to intensify efforts toward locating and recovering his body so that his family may be afforded the solemn opportunity to conduct a dignified burial and rescue other victims still in captivity.” The family also urged President Tinubu to personally visit the affected families, stating that his presence would reassure them that the government stands firmly with them in their grief and remains committed to rescuing the remaining abducted victims.

Yes, civilian militias should never be the first option. We have the police and army that are publicly funded and more equip to quell the insurgency. The pressure should be on security agencies to deliver at this stage. Civilian militias is a last resort self-help.

It is right for Civilian JTF to be used to fight terrorism in the North. But to you, it is wrong for Sunday Igboho or anyone to raise men to rid our forests in the South-West of terrorists. Your head is sure not correct. Orí ẹ kò pé.

@Munachimsoooo Yes. The caseworker will find it unreasonable that you want to visit the UK and spend around £1500 - £2000 for a 1month visit when that’s equivalent to your 5-7 months gross salary in Nigeria. It will be unreasonable to the caseworker and they will most likely deny.

You shouldn’t be applying for a UK visa for the first time if you earn 500k monthly. It doesn’t matter if you have travel history except you have additional income, assets or family member is sponsoring you.

Only deliberate promotion of a secular society can save the South West. The 1840 battles of Osogbo was a guirella warfare, this one will be an ideological war fought from within. The expansionists wouldn’t even have to do much.

the extremists among us do not outnumber liberals across all divides and the number may swing at anytime. There is nothing happening in Zamfara that cannot happen in Oyo and Osun if care is not taken. The Allied Ibadan forces may not be able to save us this time.

I’m not even surprised to see this. In 2012, I visited Iwo as a teenager and I was just looking. I never imagined there was anywhere like that in whole SW. That’s why I laugh when people say religious extremism is not possible in the SW. SW is only still enjoying normalcy

"My response to Oyo people who have guts to reject Sharia law in Oyo State is that y'all are mad, and if you come to us to say nonsense we will beat you mercilessly. Sharia Law Council will hold in Oyo, and it will come to Osun too" - Mufti of Iwo boasts

First thing that happens after a conquest is to give the people a confused identity. They will pretend to assimilate with local culture but maintain their bloodline for monarchy. People underestimate how strategic the Fulanis are when it comes to power. They are very organized

Always find it amusing reading tweets from Ilorin Monarchists. “We are the same” but nah you dy talk am pass plus level of cultural mimicry that has happened there eh. All they have to do is adopt a Yoruba middle-name to gain buy-in and that's it.

@TemitopeSobulo This is assuming people have the luxury of options. Those who come abroad through spousal route rarely have other options in the first place.

Best shot now…take it from me as an ex immigration consultant 😎. Don’t use a spouse to come abroad. Do your own path so if one person path fail, you lean on the second 🤷🤷🤷🤷. Two path better than one 🤷 You see the green card issue, very demure 🥹. Thats how quickly immigration law can change.
