Matt Barrows was asked if he believes the 49ers are holding Brandon Aiyuk hostage: “I go back and forth. Despite what Jed York said, obviously that relationship has ended. So if it ended, why drag it further than what it’s already been dragged? There’s a lot of bad blood already between the two sides, why drag it out even further? But again, they want something in return. They drafted their franchise quarterback with their final pick in the 2022 draft. A 7th round pick, you could make the argument, isn’t nothing. Just an incredible week spent on the road in Philadelphia, Santa Clara and then Seattle bringing you the #NFL Playoffs for @talkSPORT, I hope you had as much enjoyment listening as we did being there. An unbelievable opportunity spent with the 49ers, lucky doesn’t even cut it.
