It’s such a shame, 'cause Insomniac was clearly planning to do something like this. The leaks even showed a partially developed mechanic where Venom could kidnap you and drag you down into the sewers.

Leaks aside, it’s funny how an encounter like this never happened despite all of our major looks at Venom showing him encountering and/or ambushing the spider-dudes in random parts of the city.
