It’s jarring how many people I know who couldn’t care less about the NBA right now. Was at a brewery last weekend watching the NCAA and it was like pulling teeth trying to get anyone to talk about the league. The NBA has a serious cultural problem with the American sports fan.

Unlike most “Star Trek Fans,” I like Trek that isn’t TOS and TNG. I loved Voyager and Enterprise. I thought Picard and even Discovery had great arcs.
And even I think this show is trash.
It’s moralistic and preachy. It’s cringe. The characters fall flat. It’s a complete betrayal of everything that makes Star Trek good.
