@usmntonly Not meant as a dig but your best player isnt even a top 150 player in the world. Richards is pretty decent for Palace. McKennie is very average. Imo you'd be lucky to even make it out of the group stages.

@the_bonnfire I mean, I saw this happen exactly with McKennie at least once. They had what looked like a double team and McKennie stood off and allows Doku to go 1v1 against Weah and Weah got burnt. That wasn't entirely on Weah because McKennie should have helped more.

Mauricio Pochettino says that multiple midfielders were supposed to help defend Jeremy Doku on the wing once he got into dangerous positions, but says they were poor to react. Calls it a "lack of understanding" by the #USMNT players.
