@CountMoriarty 10, although the harp was pretty much a complete guess.
English

Getting a question wrong on the periodic table is going to annoy me for far longer than not going with my instinct on the cricket question

@ArianeSherine I pretty much only do haha emojis. I wonder if I'm giving people the wrong message.
English

@CountMoriarty Ah, Djibouti is one of perhaps fifty that I can recognize instantly from the shape.
English

@youngrat Well, I couldn't work it out so decided on where the coastlines were and guessed at Djibouti and was very wrong so tried South America. But I really couldn't guess which of the random small countries it was going to be.
English

Better. Foiled by leopards and French food.

@CountMoriarty I vaguely recognized the shape, but got the wrong continent. When pointed to the right continent, only one it could be.
English

@youngrat No, I meant Worldle. I got 5 on it and you got 2 I think yo said. For Wordle I did it in three.
English

@CountMoriarty My normal first two gave me three letters, all wrong places. Third go gave me another. Then I just thought for a long time.
English

@youngrat 5 on the worldle. How did you get that quickly?
English

@youngrat @CountMoriarty I don't play Wordle because I am strong
English

@CountMoriarty Wasn't sure about 9. Confident about the rest.
English

@CountMoriarty I have, but I know the answer because I know its Welsh name.
English

@youngrat I didn't know the football one so I had to deduce it.
How do you know the others? Have you been to Swansea?
English

Tough today. Starting off tricky is never a good sign.

@youngrat The Infant, Schoolboy...etc I didn't know. And the -, +, x, = which is not surprising because the answer repulsed me. Which ones did you struggle with?
English

A special tricky one today. Two that foxed me but I guessed one correctly. The Gen, Ex, Lev one was obvious but I couldn't remember which one came next.

@CountMoriarty I just had to picture where the Oresund was, which also helped with the quiz.
English

@youngrat I have just done Worldle having not seen it for ages. One of those where you instantly recognise it. But I couldn't work out which of the two it was and I guessed incorrectly so I got it in two.
English

Harrumph. A 50/50 on Caesar and I picked the wrong one and I kind of knew that as well.

@CountMoriarty I obviously knew one real name, and assumed that two of the remaining already were real names or adaptations thereof.
English

@youngrat I'd seen the name of the answer somewhere before so it at least had a slight familiarity.
English

Odd. But I'll take it. And who the hell are the first three people here?

My random guessing skills are seemingly back. I'm annoyed at question 2 because I had ruled out what turned out to be the actual answer by deduction.

@CountMoriarty Yes, either you know them or don't, and most aren't a thing here.
English

@youngrat Avis was the easy one for me. But I could only find three so fourth was a guess. I didn't think enough about what ersatz meant because of brain fog. Got there eventually. But you have to admit the snacks was nonsense.
English

Impossible today. Unless of course you've spent a fair time in the US.

@CountMoriarty I don't normally do it. On this occasion, the group that included ersatz was easy to me, as I just looked for other words that mean the same. I guessed what meaning of 'avis' we wanted, so then that was, as long as you've heard of them.
English

@youngrat I didn't think any were easy but my brain struggles with this sort of puzzle as I have poor recall and poor working memory.
