I’m so grateful for everything I’ve been able to do, but receiving the Hometown Hero award from @949WDKBDeKalb feels extra special. I grew up listening to this radio station and I’m proud to be from DeKalb! No matter where I go, I’ll forever be a small-town girl from the Midwest.
