This month I challenged myself to build something totally decentralized where the web3 tech actually improved the UX I built Wallet OTP, a decentralized, wallet encrypted, 2FA Authenticator available on any device. Check it out & tune in to the @ETHGlobal HackFS finale today - you might see a familiar face 😉 ethglobal.com/showcase/walle…

@oneeyekeh http 402 is technically to signal "payment required," so it works for any payments. check out mpp, which uses 402 and includes fiat rails mpp.dev/faq

@0ceans404 But it seems it's not fiat, or it's more like a crypto thing. Right? I’m thinking about adoption metric..

I’m not sure if the HeyGen API should support x402, any thoughts?

LFG and check out my fork that adds Stellar support for OWS github.com/oceans404/core
Raj Karia@rajkaria_

Aegis now supports @StellarOrg Big thanks to @0ceans404 for pushing to go live on Stellar. Here's what Stellar builders can do with Aegis today: → Query XLM + token balances via Horizon (no API key) → Verify Stellar transactions on-chain before granting API access → Fund testnet wallets via Friendbot integration → See Stellar balances alongside Solana + EVM in the Nexus dashboard → Gate your APIs with x402 and verify Stellar settlement @OpenWallet doesn't natively support Stellar yet. Aegis bridges that gap - bringing Stellar balance tracking, payment verification, and settlement into the OWS ecosystem. When OWS adds native @StellarOrg wallet derivation, Aegis will be ready on day one. 4 blockchain ecosystems. 9 partner integrations. One protocol. The hackathon is over. Our mission to make OWS usable for every builder isn't. useaegis.xyz WAGMI

96 projects focused on Pay-Per-Call & x402 monetization in @OpenWallet Hackathon (Keymint, Pylon, Vortex402, PayMesh, Tollbit and a lot more) Gateways, proxies, MCP tools, paid oracles, registries… Aegis Gate is literally built for this, one middleware line + OWS signing + receipts + Nexus visibility. No need to reinvent the payment handshake. If anyone built in this category, you can check useaegis.xyz for integration and DM me if you need anything WAGMI

Dermi 🫧 is an x402 API your agents can use to check for pore-clogging ingredients before buying you stuff from sephora and ulta Dermi is built on my fork of OWS that adds Stellar for the @OpenWallet hackathon try it! 🙈 dermi-znuq.onrender.com

Stellar now supports the Machine Payments Protocol (MPP), the open standard by @stripe and @tempo that lets AI agents pay for services over HTTP. The MPP SDK handles any stablecoin on Stellar with server-sponsored fees so agents never need gas tokens. developers.stellar.org/docs/build/age…

Hey! We ran 160 real USDC payments across 32 protocol/chain/transport combos through our cross transport MPP/x402 SDK on @base @tempo, @solana and @SkaleNetwork Here is what we found -------- @x402 -------- 🥇 Base : median 530ms, min 406.7ms 🥈 Solana : median 696.4ms, min 534.2ms Fastest path. Client signs off-chain, no on-chain tx from the client. The facilitator settles asynchronously. -------- @mpp -------- 🥇 Base: median 784ms, min 482.8ms 🥈 Tempo: median 1.08s, min 999.0ms Client broadcasts, server verifies the receipt directly on-chain. Sub-second, no third party involved. The latency beyond block inclusion comes from RPC round-trips, then both client and server poll for the receipt. -------- Bridging -------- 🥇 Tempo → Skale on MPP: median 1.20s, min 953.5ms 🥈 Tempo → Base on MPP: median 1.35s, min 1.09s Real value moving between chains. Client pays in source, the bridge handle the rest. One result stood out: MPP Solana: 2.32s! why 3x slower than x402 Solana (696ms)🤔 Same chain, different verification: 👉 x402: client signs off-chain, facilitator settles separately. 👉 MPP: the server proves the payment on-chain — simulateTransaction → sendTransaction → poll getSignatureStatuses with a 2s sleep between attempts → getTransaction. That 2s poll sleep may be the dominant cost. Conclusion ? The payment layer is no longer the bottleneck. Sub-second for direct, 1.2s cross-chain, 100% reliability across 32 combinations. Paid APIs are ready to disappear into the latency of a normal API call. ⚠️ Client↔server is localhost in this benchmark. In prod, add your network latency. The ranking and analysis hold. If you want to run this benchmark yourself, let us know, we'll open source it.
