Bored Ape Yacht Club long term price Thesis.
Have seen a few posts asking whether @BoredApeYC will ever reach $100k again.
For me, you’re all asking the wrong question.
The correct question is, when will Bored Apes reach a $1m floor price.
The legendary 10,000 supply NFT collection would need to reach a market cap of $10 billion to achieve this feat.
Why and how is this achievable?
As of now, the Ethereum market cap is $240b. The BAYC market cap is $120m, therefore making BAYC 0.05% of the ETH MC.
Now ask yourself, what is likely to grow at a faster rate over the next 4 years? If NFTs, as I predict, survive and thrive, the BAYC collection will be in the top 3 of NFT collections ever made by value, meaning the floor price of BAYC will outpace $ETH.
Now, I’m highly confident that Ethereum, the go to blockchain for the off-chain to on-chain upcoming major market transition, becomes a $2T asset class within the next 4 years.
When that happens, is it plausible for Bored Apes, arguably the most cultural and iconic of NFT collections to exist on Ethereum, to reach a market cap of $10b?
A $10b to $2T comparative valuation would mean BAYC hits 0.5% of the Ethereum market cap, representing a 10x return on the growth of ETH over the same period, and a 100x USD return.
Ask yourself, is it possible for a digital historical artefact to capture 0.5% of the Ethereum network value.
Punks will. I believe Bored Apes will too.
Bored Apes are just as culturally iconic, and arguably more well known worldwide than Crypto Punks.
Is this a high risk, high reward play? Absolutely.
Does this thesis come across as insane? Almost certainly.
Would I buy more BAYCs and double down on my thesis if I had the chance. You damn right.
My thesis - the BAYC collection hits a floor price of $1m by the end of 2029 at the latest.
Would love to hear whether people think I’m ngmi and am insane💀, or actually believe in a similar thesis 🤝.

Worth considering if we should base today's reality on the science fiction musings from the past.
Testing with humanoid robots is a very interesting new challenge. Historically robots have been confined to keep out zones with rigid walls and laser barriers, lock-out/tag-out, etc. This is the easy way to ensure people don't get hurt by very capable machines. But the more we integrate humanoid robotics into collaborative roles with humans the more we need to remove those barriers by nature of the work.
