I could never have articulated it this well. But bottom line is that this bill is a left wing travesty being pushed as a conservative solution. I waited 2 hours to talk to my daughter on our last evening together before she heads home, just so she could write this, and it was totally worth it. I'm still a Hard NO on this amnesty bill which cloaks itself as the dignified act or whatever it is. Good job, Honey!

Again, apples and oranges IMO. Presumably the Peruvians living here are permanent residents... of the U.S. If I were a Peruvian citizen and physical resident, I wouldn't want people half a world away voting on decisions that would affect me. ...and missionaries return in 2 years. Just one white, straight guys opinion... we all know what that's worth to your type... since we're playing politics.

Honestly, I was getting frustrated. But I have to remember he's part of system that's had decades to sink deep roots of corruption bigger than any one individual will ever be able to challenge. That said, I'm extremely impressed with his resolve in choosing the SAVE Act hill to die on.

@KSLcom Because it's now clear to many that most Republicans are uniparty. They aren't passing the SAVE act that even 70% of Democrats want. They vote against releasing congressional sex abuse records meaning many are compromised and subject to blackmail.
